COURSE OF STUDY FOR GRADES K-5
At Veritas Christian Academy, all courses are taught from the perspective that Jesus is Lord. To support our empahsis on teaching the basics of each subject with excellence, We use materials from a variety of publishers, including Shurley, Apologia, Veritas Press, Logos School Materials, Memoria Press, A Beka, Singapore Math and others.
COURSE OF STUDY FOR GRADES 6-12
The classical Christian education offered at Veritas Christian Academy helped our first graduating class earn an average SAT score of 1854, which ranks among the top private schools in the county.

In middle school and high school, History and English Literature are taught separately but integrate in content and include some emphasis on philosophy and the arts to provide an interdisciplinary study of the story of world history through primary sources. The approach includes instruction and discussion seminars designed to develop each student’s thinking through all aspects of rhetoric including listening, speaking, reading and writing. Content emphasizes how God has revealed His goodness, man’s sinfulness, and God’s great redemption through the work of Jesus Christ. Although designed to be studied in chronological order, courses are available as appropriate. NOTE: Most courses may be taken by home-schoolers on a space-available basis. Contact us online or call (408) 984-1255 for part-time admissions and pricing information.

Although the scope and sequence is generally organized chronologically, students may enter some courses according to their ability as determined through admission testing.
