ISP High School Diploma Information
Before issuing an ISP diploma, Veritas Christian Academy requires the parent to provide documentation of the required coursework for grades 9-12. Veritas Christian Academy will verify successful completion of required final examinations taken on campus.
Required documentation includes complete attendance records, report cards for the high school years, a completed transcript of courses and a signed statement to the effect that the student has completed the coursework as required. Call or write to the office sometime during the senior year and request a graduation packet with forms and information about the process.
All courses required by Veritas Christian Academy must be addressed in the graduate's documentation. We strongly suggest that during the student's junior year you verify with the office that the student is on track for graduation.
Specific requirements include:
• Complete a course of study that meets or exceeds the State of California’s requirements for public school graduation

• Pass the California High School Proficiency Exam (CHSPE)
|
• Pass the final exams used by our full-time program in the following subjects:

• Bible Overview
|
• Logic
|
• Rhetoric 1
|
• Latin 2 or Greek 2
|
|
• Diplomas are issued on the school's regular graduation date in June, unless prior arrangements have been made with the Director.
|
Completed documentation and the graduation processing fee ($50) must reach Veritas Christian Academy by May 15. Graduation documentation submitted late will either be charged a late fee ($50) or held for the next graduation date at the Director's discretion.
Veritas Christian Academy will only graduate currently enrolled, qualified students with proper documentation.

• Initial application and application fee of $25 per family
|
• Initial family interview with school staff
|
• Payment of annual tuition ($250 per family for 2007-08; may be paid in advance or monthly)

• Submission of curriculum outline for each child at beginning of each school year
|
• Meeting with ISP director at beginning of each school year
|
• Report card and attendance sheet submitted quarterly
|
• Compliance with minimum daily attendance standards of the State of California (175 days per school year)
|
• Membership in the Home School Legal Defense Association
|
• Regular attendance of a church that is in general agreement with VCA's Statement of Faith
|
