VCA's last day of school was June 16, and we celebrated with an
End of Year Barbecue.
The first VCA yearbook was distributed June 13. Five students spent a day a week during spring semester designing the yearbook under the supervision of Mrs. Burns.
The first standardized test scores at VCA, distributed to students and parents in May, suggested that six months of studying Logic and Latin had not been in vain: While students' median test scores were above the 75th percentile nationally in every subject tested, their median scores in Verbal Reasoning and Vocabulary were in the 92nd percentilewhich translates among
students in elite private schools to the 58th and 61st percentiles respectively! Congratulations to students and teachers!
