Full-time K-12 School
The main focus of Veritas Christian Academy, our regular program provides a strong K-12 classical Christian education. Classes run from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with extended care available from 7:30-8 a.m. (no charge) and 3:30-5:30 p.m. ($4/hr). Additional programs, such as varsity athletics, are available for an additional fee.

Part-Time Enrichment
Part-time students in grades 6-12 may take courses alongside full-time students as home-school enrichment on a space-available basis. Part-time tuition is calculated on the following basis:
1) $2,266 per course credit for students enrolled in fewer than two full credits.
2) $2,002 per course credit for students enrolled in at least two credits but no more than four credits.
3) Full-time tuition rates for students enrolled in more than four credits.

Home-School PSP
Home-school families may affiliate with Veritas Christian Academy via our Private Satellite Program. PSP application fee is $25 per family, and PSP tuition is $250 per family for 2008-09. PSP tuition is applied as a discount to part-time tuition if a student is enrolled in one or more classes at Veritas Christian Academy during the same school year. Click here for information.

Financial Assistance
Veritas Christian Academy offers tuition assistance to all families of students who are accepted into our academic program and demonstrate financial need through an application process administered by Family Financial Need Assessment (FFNA). For more information, please call (408) 984-1255.

Financial Support Philosophy Veritas Christian Academy is committed to providing Christ-centered instruction through time-tested classical methods for the next generation as an inheritance to be handed down to the generations that follow. Dabney, 19th-century American pastor and theologian The education reflected in our vision and mission is priceless, but the cost of providing it is significant. In developing our financial policies and procedures, we have kept in mind two key principles: 1) Those who can afford to pay the full cost of educating their children should carry that responsibility themselves. (I Timothy 5:8) 2) We should do good, as we have opportunity, especially toward those of the household of faith, giving from our abundance to supply their need. (Galatians 6:10, II Corinthians 8:13-15) Therefore, we have set tuition rates at a level that is designed to cover 100% of costs, and we give tuition assistance to those who can not afford to pay the full cost of educating their children. Tuition assistance is provided by the generous gifts of those who desire to support our work. Although supported and run by Christians, Veritas Christian Academy is not financially underwritten by any one church or organization and does not receive any government funding; consequently, the school is completely funded through tuition and the support of private benefactors. Veritas Christian Academy is the primary service of Doorpost Educational Services, Inc., an independent, nondenominational, tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
